Experimental Interfaces
Experimental Interfaces is the umbrella for rapid UI prototypes that stress-test presentation patterns before they make their way into production applications.
Focus Areas
- Projection-Mapped Widgets — Exploring physical displays that react to live data streams for command-centre environments.
- Minimalist Analytics — Designing dashboards that emphasise trend direction and actionable outliers over raw tables.
- Narrative Reports — Combining generated summaries with human annotations so stakeholders can review context quickly.
Toolchain
I lean on component-driven stacks such as Svelte and Astro for quick iteration. When spatial context helps, I pull in Three.js to visualise data with depth, and I rely on TypeScript to keep experiments maintainable as they grow.
Outcomes
Each prototype becomes a reference implementation that feeds back into larger projects like MMO Bot or client work. Documenting the explorations helps me evaluate which ideas deserve a dedicated roadmap.
